By Katherine Bergman, Zeitgeist

Each fall, new music ensemble Zeitgeist brings together an eclectic cast of adventurous Twin Cities performers to celebrate the wide variety of cutting-edge new music that is being created locally. Zeitgeist’s annual New Music Cabaret gives concert-goers a taste of new music from multiple genres, including jazz, contemporary classical, blues, folk, improv, and more. The 5th annual event is coming up this weekend, Nov. 7-10 at Zeitgeist’s home venue, Studio Z, and includes upwards of three hours of local, live music each night for $10 admission.
