TODAY is the final day to submit your best idea for the arts in Philadelphia to the Knight Arts Challenge! Make sure you apply by midnight tonight.

No idea is too large or too small, and everyone can apply. Here’s a reminder of our three basic rules:
1. Your idea is about the arts.
2. Your project takes place in or benefits Philadelphia.
3. You find other funding to match the Knight Foundation grant. (Don’t worry — you’ll have a full year after being awarded the grant to raise matching funds.)
Need a few pointers? Read our blog archive of tips for applying. Good luck to all!
Applications for year three of the Knight Arts Challenge Philadelphia are being accepted through MIDNIGHT tonight, Oct. 15. Give us your best idea and make this your year!

Wonderful opportunity! The ideas are great, just hope we have a great idea this year. Looking forward to your reply as we seek to display the wonderful art forms of jazz and opera.
For the creation the Junto, a yearly conference to bring people to Philadelphia to talk about, celebrate, and learn how to run a purpose-driven business. The Junto (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junto_(club)) was founded by Ben Franklin & friends and led to the formation of the first lending library and hospital in the US. We have hosted Junto gatherings for years and it led to the creation of Indy Hall (indyhall.org). We know we want to use it to position Philadelphia as a center for purpose-driven businesses. Creative people are not driven by money, but by purpose. Supporting businesses that value purpose will help support our creative community and economy.
